HP-Helpful Links

These links are also at our Wiki. If you find any link that you think might be helpful to anyone in the class please feel free to edit this page and add!

  • FSU Writing Resources Homepage – this page has info about the Reading Writing Center, the Digital Studio, and the Computer Writing Classrooms page.  Using the pop out menus on the left side, you can navigate to and from each of these sites.

  • FSU Reading & Writing Center (RWC) — the English Dept website is in a transition– if you don’t find what you need at the above link, try this one.  It’s the old one, but most of the information should be accurate.

  • OWL at Purdue – this might be one of the best writing resource websites in the country. Hosted at Purdue, it’s got just about everything you need and some.

  • UNC Writing Lab– another great university site, the UNC-Chapel Hill site has most of what you’ll find at the OWL at Purdue, plus lots of single-page explanations of all kinds of difficult writing concepts.

  • Silva Rhetoricae at BYU – defines some of the terms in our texts in a scroll feature. It is published by Brigham Young University.

  • FSU Library– Pretty self explanatory. Let me know if you need more descriptive info.

  • Google Scholars–  Research to your heart’s desire.

You can also find this list on the top Menu bar under HP (it is not only short for Harry Potter in here!)

Links Collaborators: Chelsea Young; Taschima. (correct me if I’m wrong, please!)

Feel free to add your name whenever you add an HP.

Journals

This is the page where we will keep track of the journals we write for the semester. When you click on each journal it will take you directly to that journal’s page where you can see what it was about, the comments, etc.

Journal 1

Framing Project 1

I also created on the top bar menu a ‘Journal’ button that will take you to this page so it doesn’t get lost among all the other posts. As each new journal comes out this page will be edited to make the new journal addition.
